All our vehicles are insured against the damage done to the third party.
If our vehicle is damaged by the guilt of another vehicle, damage cannot
be recompensed from the Collision Damage Waiver, but from the
insurance policy of that vehicle (third party) Because of that rule, police
report has to be made, and customer must give a statement about the
accident on applicable forms. Call nearest Intercar Office!
If our vehicle is damaged by the guilt of its driver, the damage is
insurable by compulsory daily extra payment for Collision Damage Waiver
(CDW). CDW does not cover the full amount of damage (see deduction
amounts and deduction waiver!)
CDW coverage has some exceptions:
CDW does not cover the damage of these parts: tires, wheel rip, wheel covers, as well as damage of chassis, because these damages can be caused only by driver's carelessness;
CDW does not cover damages of engine caused by lack of oil, or damage done to the oil pump.
CDW does not diminish responsibility for the damage caused by the driver who was under influence of alcohol or drugs, if the vehicle was blasted, mined or intentionally burned.
CDW does not cover damages caused by person which is not mentioned as a driver.
CDW covers renters responsibility in full except for the amount of deduction as follows.
Deduction waiver daily fee is not compulsory and if it is not included in the price, it offered locally at the counter. Accepting and paying the daily deduction waiver fee, the renter is covered in case of accident completely up to the full damage amount (still police report and other exceptions are valid).
If renter does not accept deduction waiver fee he will be responsible up to the amount of deduction.If the damage amount is smaller than actual damage amount, renter will pay smaller amount.
In case of accident, if there is no police report, CDW shall not be applicable at all, and the client is responsible for full damage amount.
TP (theft protection) is not applicable in case of lost keys or any other careless attitude toward keys or documents of Intercar vehicle.
Breakdown procedure: In the case of traffic accident renter has to call the police, call the nearest Intercar location, give a statement and fill in all the necessary forms.
All major credit cards acceptable ( Visa, Mastercard, Maestro)
For some group of the cars 2 credit cards should be given as guarantee
Reservations have to be sent to our Central reservation department at least 48 hours before pick-up time.
Each reservation if it is confirmed will get a confirmation number and will be sent by fax or e-mail back to the Travel Agent.
Reservation modification or cancellation must be sent to the same fax number.

Each reservation has to be sent and confirmed from our reservation department at least 24 hours before pick-up time. In some exceptional cases during peak season Intercart Rent a car reserves a right to refuse to confirm a reservation because of over-booking situation. Advance booking will completely minimise these situations.
